Hey, my name is samiya berry.
The creative and founder of Elevate Media. From childhood, you could always find me with a camera in hand. Photography was my favorite way to express myself. After rededicating my life to the Lord, Elevate Media was born, transforming the pain of grief into a passion for storytelling. I filmed behind-the-scenes content for my portfolio while providing real-time event footage, photography, interviews, and full videography coverage for both the SBOSS Small Business Awards and the Sips on Sunsets After Party.
The evening featured notable guests including Montgomery Mayor, LJ Walker – founder of Better than Average Tutoring, and many other outstanding local business owners.

Booking & Deposit
A date is reserved once a signed contract and deposit are received.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied toward a rescheduled date if mutually agreed upon
Event Coverage & Deliverables
Packages include the hours, number of shooters, and deliverables specified in your contract.
Turnaround for edited images is typically 7–14 business days.
Extra edits are available at $5 per image.
Payment Method & Schedule
Invoices will be sent through Square.
Final payment is due on the date of the shoot unless otherwise discussed.
If a shoot runs over the scheduled time, additional fees will be added to the invoice.
Weather & Rescheduling
Photography services are not guaranteed in cases of inclement weather.
Rescheduling may be offered based on the photographer’s availability.
Emergencies: If either the client or photographer experiences an emergency, the shoot can be rescheduled at a mutually agreed date. Deposits may be applied to the rescheduled date.
Client Responsibilities & Conduct
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to prepare and be on time.
- 15-minute grace period is allowed.
- If you are 30 minutes late, a $15 fee will be added. Anything beyond this may result in cancellation.
- Only one extra guest is allowed at photo shoots if they are not being photographed.
- Women: Bring makeup brushes, hair tools, and edge control.
- Men: Bring brushes, hair accessories, or other tools as needed.
*Music during shoots will be Christian Gospel, RnB, or Worship.*
• Clients should inform the photographer of any allergies, medical conditions, or limitations that may affect the shoot.
Props & Personal Items
Photographer is not responsible for damage or loss of props or personal items brought to the shoot.
Studio Rules
No outside food or drinks allowed in the studio, except water.
• Clients are responsible for cleaning up after themselves.
Minors / Guardians
A parent or guardian must be present if minors are photographed.
Travel Fees
For locations outside Montgomery, AL, a travel fee of $0.70 per mile will apply.
Liability
The photographer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged images due to circumstances beyond their control, including equipment failure, illness, or acts of nature.
Editing & Copyright
Edited photos will be delivered according to the package specifications.
• The photographer retains full copyright to all images.
• Images may be used for the photographer’s portfolio, marketing, or social media, without requiring client consent.
Agreement Acceptance
Signing the contract indicates acceptance of these policies.
